At a meeting held on August 8, 2024, the Board of Elections approved the following polling place changes. All voters affected by these changes will receive a voter card in the mail no later than 30 days prior to the election. 

• Precinct 04: Moved from the NC School of Science and Math to St. Luke's Episcopal Church located at 1737 Hillandale Road, Durham, NC 27705.

• Precinct 25: Moved from Lucas Middle School to Old Northern High School located at 117 Tom Wilkinson Road, Durham, NC 27712.

• Precinct 26: Moved from Bahama Volunteer Fire Department - Rougemont Station to Rougemont United Methodist Church located at 105 Red Mountain Road, Rougemont, NC 27572.

• Precinct 29: Moved from Glenn Elementary School to Gorman Ruritan Club located at 2309 E Geer Street, Durham, NC 27704.

• Precinct 56: Moved from St. Stephens Episcopal Church to Westminster Presbyterian Church located at 3639 Old Chapel Hill Road, Durham, NC 27707.
